Position: Maintenance Operations Assistant Manager

Position Type: Full Time

Position Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Operations Manager, the Maintenance Operations Assistant Manager performs general and preventative maintenance duties, groundskeeping, habitat maintenance, mowing/trimming, bike trail maintenance/upkeep, special event support & assisting the public. The Maintenance Operations Assistant Manager organizes and carries out front-line, “in-the-field” work to be performed by Maintenance Operation Technicians (PT and Seasonal), volunteers, court-appointed workers as well as contractual workers and conducts much of the same work themselves with minimal supervision; all toward the goal of providing safe, clean and well-maintained parks that create places for happy experiences, environmental learning, and healthy recreational pursuits. Close interaction with other departments is required regularly to ensure all departments can meet the public’s needs.

Salary Package:

$17.50-19.50/hr
