Jr Naturalists - History Hike

Grades 3-6 / Prairie Ridge Meadow / Pre-registration Required

Every corner of this county is bursting with history, and our parks are no
exception. We’ll check out Prairie Ridge Meadow and Tecumseh Point
discovering why it is so important not only in our county’s history but also in our nation’s history.

Jr. Naturalists is a series of monthly, two and a half-hour long programs designed to give grades 3-6 a hands-on introduction to natural resource management. Hikes, work projects,
and independent study are all part of this fun-filled nature study club. Programs are offered one Saturday of every month and are supervised by staff & adult volunteers. A materials
fee of $3.00 is charged for each program, and pre-registration is required.
